We are QRT after 10001 QSOs. The aurora made it very difficult for us; it's an experience. Thanks to everyone for calling us. Please use our Online QSL Request Service for direct and bureau QSL requests.

We now have a better 160m antenna which works pretty well. We are jumping between 160 and 80 in 30-minute-periods. The aurora and polar lights are miserable for our expedition. There are suddenly no signals at all on any band and our daily QSO rate has dropped dramatically.

We have arrived here on Svalbard on Thursday at noon. We are able to use the antennas and the FT-1000 of JW5E but had to build a lot until everything was running. We brought our own equipment including a K2 and two transistor power amplifiers. The antennas here are somewhat OK but could be better. We don't have a decent 160m antenna yet. We also brought two antenna tuners provided by Rudi, DM2XO, and we really need them. The broad pile-ups of VK0EK and FT4JA are causing other problems. We try our best.

The online log is updated regularly and we have the first DXpedition pictures on our pictures page.
