FS/DL7DF   February/March 2006 - Saint Martin & St. Maarten
&
PJ7/DL7DF
We want to continue our DXpeditions also in the year 2006. With the current low sunspot conditions it's difficult to provide you new band countries. However, after some investigation and surveys, we decided to go for the Caribbean - FS and PJ7. No really rare entities but good enough for many band countries, especially on the low bands. Our VP2V results confirm this.
We've booked two places at the east coast of each island part to have a free shot into Europe. Activity will be between February 21 and March 8, 2006 beginning with FS and afterwards PJ7.

Five experienced operators will participate: DL4WK (Wolf), DL7UFR (Frank), DL7VOA (Rob), SP3DOI (Les) and DL7DF (Sigi). We will run two stations consisting of 2x IC735, 1x IC706, 2x TY 900 Linear Amp. 900W, a Titanex V80 E, a Hexbeam 5 Band Yagi, a R7 vertical as well as two fiberglass rods with plenty of wire.

Modes will be CW, SSB, RTTY, PSK31 and SSTV. An online log will be available here on this website. QSL via DL7DF through the bureau or direct.

5Z4HW   February 2004 - Kenia
I was in Kenya between February 17 and March 1, 2004. This was be holiday but I spent plenty of time on the bands. My callsign was 5Z4HW activating CW, SSB, RTTY plus PSK31 and SSTV but due to license restrictions no 160m, 30m and 6m. I was running a 100W into a Ground Plane and wire antennas.

XZ7A   October 2003 - Myanmar
We actually had a special target in Africa for our 2003 DXpedition, however we ran into trouble obtaining the license. But we will go to another country instead - Myanmar, XZ. Our call sign will be XZ7A. Myanmar is not amongst the top 10 of the most needed DXCC entities anymore but we hope for a success anyway.
Activity is planned between September 30 and October 17, 2003. We will have four stations at two different operating places. One of the places is in the capitol, the other one in a sea village. The location in the capitol is very promising because there is a passable roof on a 25m high building.
